Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

I was browsing through my old blog posts when I came across “Phnom Penh: Cambodia’s compact capital city” published on November 12, 2009.

One of the places that I mentioned there was the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, which I said “will be the subject of a post in the future.”

So here’s the short post about the museum.

Few photos
The museum, located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, used to be a site where Pol Pot’s genocidal Khmer Rouge regime tortured and killed people.

That’s why I didn’t really feel like taking many pictures.

Instead, I spent more time on reading the signs and reminders that described the atrocities committed by the Khmer Rouge regime against its own people.
