The Washington Wizards demonstrated in front of the home crowd at the Verizon Center in the U. S. capital that the Oklahoma City Thunder weren’t invincible, after all.
The Wizards routed the Thunder, 96-81, putting an end to Oklahoma City’s 10-game win streak.
Kevin Durant led the Thunder with his 26 points, but only two of his teammates scored double-digit points.
On the other hand, five players from Washington made at least 10 points, led by Trevor Ariza who had 18 points.
What hurt the Thunder though were their 21 turnovers. The Wizards committed only 11.
